These free apps display a website as your wallpaper
macOS- Install Plash (free, open source) from the App Store
- Click the Plash menu bar icon → Add Website
- Enter bitday.me — done
Windows- Install Lively Wallpaper (free, open source)
- Click Add Wallpaper and enter bitday.me
- Set it as your wallpaper
Option 2 · Wallpapers
The classic twelve, swapped through the day
1. Set up your OS
Each one keeps the wallpaper in step with your clock
macOS- Download the native dynamic wallpaper (.heic)
- Open System Settings → Wallpaper and add it
- macOS shifts it through the day by itself
Windows- Install WallpaperChange by wojwo
- Windows will warn it's unsigned — choose More info → Run anyway
- Grab the images below, then map them to times in its tray Settings
Linux- Install dwall — BitDay is a built-in style
- Run dwall -s bitday on a cron job
- On GNOME, there's also a packaged slideshow
